2 days is more than enough to rip a dvd anyway, and seeing as to how most rental places give you 3 to 5 days, this is just more useless crap from disney that serves no beneficial purpose. |

#3, Similar in concept to DIVX (not to be confused with DivX :) ) indeed. If I recall, that system used phone lines and modems built into the DVD player. If you attempted to play a disc outside of its original rental period, it was supposed to prompt you to start another rental period (and pay for it electronically). If you unplugged your phone jack, the machine would stop playing the disc, and so on. I'm really glad that that format never caught on, and I hope that this one does the same. |
