| i feel sorry for her tho. it's just a feakin blue LED light that hardly affact other drivers or even notice. some cops are just BS. they should spend more time jailing the ones with full underbody leons or 100 ib exhaust and aluminum wings that'd chopp cyclist heads off |

| I think that is completely bullshit, why fine and ticket someone for something as small and stupid as little blue lights, it must have been quota time. Just another example of an asshole cop abusing his powers, they should put HIM in jail for a day or 2 for wasting time and money, and actually make cops accountable for what they do. |

What kind of idiots are they??? what a stupid fine for a couple of lights. i admit though....they were blue so i can understand him pulling her over and telling her that some one could mistake them for a police officer (if they've had a labotomy) and kindly pointing her in a direction to remove them or replace them with a different color. but sending her to jail?!?! GOOD LORD! WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?!?! |

| noone in their right mind would mistake 2 very small lights for a police cruiser, just to even bring something like that up is ridiculous and it proves that the police try to make up stupid reasons to abuse their power. which is why I hate the police. |

| The cop just gave her a ticket and told her it was illegal and sent her on her way. Her dumb ass wanted to contest the ticket and the judge is the one who smacked her around. A cop tells you it's illegal, you just need to stop doing it and pay the ticket. When you waste a judge's time and courts money is when you get the heavy penalties. |

| #11, It said it's up to the discretion of the officer wither to cite or not, so yes, it is aginst the law, but like most of the vehicles code, it's selectively enforced depening on how a given cop feels about a given person on a given day |

| Most people don't realize that getting a ticket is fortunate. A cop can take you straight to jail if they want. I sat througha day at court and watched as numerouse people tried to pleed innocent for speeding tickets. Come on, if you are caught speeding just pay the fricken fine. But, because they wanted to contest it, every single one of them got 24 hours or more, jail time handed out by the judge. |

i've seen lines of LED lights on trucks in red yellow or blue that u get from any auto part store. are they also illegal? this is BS
that sould've been a warrning,a ticket maaaaybe but go to jail and a 800 dollar fine? BS! what about the clear tail lights on lowered POSes |

i think we're all missing the facts:
A. Only an idiot would think blue LED's on their windshield washer nozzles are cool.
B. Nobody likes idiots.
C. If you don't have blue LED's on your car, the police are less likely to pull you over for impersonating a police cruiser, and, finally:
D. This particular band of police officers did overstep their bounds by a wide margin, but, hey, there's quite a distinct possibility that they're also idiots. |

I agree those blue light are unneccessary, annoying and ricey, but that cop is just being an asshole like every other cop. (Remember that NC trooper who shot a family's puppy for no reason, or the Dallas police who planted pool chalk in mexicans cars and convicted them of cocaine charges).
Cops abuse their power so much, so many of them deserve to be burned alive for all the frustration they cause on innocent people.
Clearly it must have been quota time. |

Right, and when I was a traffic cop, I beat up old ladies and children all the time, and no one ever used a disparaging word against me, or called me names, or made unreasonable demands of me, and any time I refused to let traffic down a particular street, it wasn't because there was gaping hole in it from water pipe installation, or that my superiors told me not to let anyone drive down that street, I just got a power trip out of ruining poeple's days, especialy ones who never read the paper or listen to the radio or somehow ignored the fact that the street had been scheduled to be torn up for weeks in advance, and detour routes were clearly posted
You're absolutely right, I was a cop just to ruin your day
People with your additude towards law enforcment are just as bad as asshole cops, which exsist in the same nubers as asshole convience store clerks, asshole landlords or asshole neighbors, no proffession is asshole free |

| For those calling all cops assholes, Folks, the fricken lights are illegal. The dumb bitch should have just paid the ticket but, no she had to go to court to try and say she was innocent. The cop didn't take her to jail, THE JUDGE DID!! |
