god what a loser...it's like he doesn't even try to counter the spin at all, he just casually leaves the road, and smash!
Questions:
1. If a Jetta TDI is anything like a Golf TDI or New Beetle TDI, why would anyone enjoy driving it enough to spend extra money on it? This is a true example of a car intended to be a fuel miser, not a racer.
2. Not knowing much about Acuras myself, I'll rely on someone else to tell me if referring to the yellow Integra as a "Type-R" is actually true, or just average stupidity.
3. That looked like a really nice MR2. How did it end up in the hands of this driver? |

Seen it.
However - i will add that i belive the MR2 driver was trying to pull a 180 but must have forgotten to pull the handbrake. That means he's a candate for the 2003 RC assclown awards.
Second - THAT'S A GSR AND THAT'S AN MR2 AND THAT'S A GSR!!! It's not a type R. As far as i know - type R's were never available here.
Third (before Trooper wrings me for saying "Seen it") - I will add that i belive this was already posted in the linkage before. However - this is the complete video (including the intro tags that were cut out in other versions of this videos). As such - i'll keep this to replace the edited one in my stash.
*adds to stash*

#3, Why would you pull the hand brake in a rear wheel drive to do a 180? Looks to me that he was just trying to do a burn out / slide and when he lifted off the gas the rear tires bit and the car shot forward.
And Type R's were available here, Take a guess what the most popular color was.

#4, Why wouldn't he pull the hand brake to pull a 180 on rear wheel drive car while on the move? The car slowed down at the 5 second mark on the video and then pulled to the left. Why it/the driver did that is either some mechanical phenominom or poor driver skill (ricers).
I belive the orginal intent of the driver was to rev high - take off for about 50 meters - pull the handbrake while turning to the left - complete a CCW 180 and keep going.
Somewhere after the 5 second mark - the driver fucked up that horibilly simple proceedure.
Next - what years were the type R's availble "here" and what was the most popular color? |

It would have been REALLY great if the passing green Integra roaring off in the background made a similar manuever. |

it's too hard to tell from that footage if thats a real type r.
either way its hanging out at a rice meeting so its already been violated and must be burned in order to cleanse it of the stupidity.
as for that dumbass mr2 driver, might i add: HA! HA! Dumbass.
Trooper needs to keep files like this on hand at ricecop and create a new media section entitled "hall of losers" or something. be sure to include this and the dsm vs m3 where his engine blows. |

Eh for the sake of argument it probably is a true Type-R (they're rare but not that rare) but who really gives a shit -- as no real sports car is FWD. I'm not even sure what the hell the guy in the MR2 was trying to accomplish here but he sure mad an ass of himself...
In repsonse to the last question on 5: I think Type-R's were available something like 1997-2001 and the most popular color was yellow, followed by black and then white -- at least those are the only colors I've seen |
