That wasn't a blooper.
It would have been a blooper had they'd been "authentic"* katana's and did break under the abuse of the host with no injuries - that would constiute a blooper.
What happened was abuse of a "practice katana" which resulted in an injury. That's called darwinism.
*(when i say "authentic" in relation the ANY home shopping channels - i really mean garbage)
