McDonald's restaurants will buy 54,000,000 pounds of fresh apples this year. Two years ago, McDonald's purchased 0 pounds of apples. This is attributed to the shift to more healthy menu options.
Yep, we've got something called "Apple Dippers" now... for happy meals, parents can choose that rather than fries for their kids... Apple Dippers consists of a plastic bag full of apple slices, and a small cup of caramel dipping sauce.

60.7 percent of eligible voters participated in the 2004 presidential election, the highest percentage in 36 years. However, more than 78 million did not vote. This means President Bush won re-election by receiving votes from less than 31% of all eligible voters in the United States.
Ok, so since he actually won a majority of the popular vote this time, they have to find ANOTHER angle of the issue to complain about... *rolls eyes*

More than 2,500 left-handed people are killed each year from using products that are made for right-handed people.
Eep. *will be more careful when using right-handed products*

....and I am growing tired of the anti-Bush rhetoric that seems to be interspersed at regular intervals throughout the page...

#1, Are you saying these shouldn't have been posted so as to not hurt bush's (or any slack-jawed bush supporters) feelings? Maybe there aren't that many kerry stupid facts because kerry isn't a complete MORON. If you don't like them too freakin bad. Perhaps you need to invest in a bottle of johnson & johnson NO MORE TEARS, crybaby.

#3 ... I kind of agree. A bit harsh toward DiRF, but your basic message is agreed upon.

Actually, I find the whining about the "whining" a lot more annoying. Stating facts is not anti-Bush rhetoric. Its just what it is: Facts. Feel free to come up with some anti-democrat "facts". You wont see my whining about it. I will however prove them wrong :P

I actually think its the people that say stuff like you just did that is unpatriotic and un-American. We have the right to speak out against what we believe is wrong. That is what makes our country different from dictatorships. Get used to it or move somewhere that speaking against your leader is punishable by death.

And yes, Special K, that was a little excessive. Saying stuff in that way never wins you any arguments. Just makes them mad...

Okay, I was a bit harsh and I apologize to DiRF. It is, however, nice to see that people see the hipocracy in what he was saying. I thought only communists and dictators kept facts about the government from the public.
