Why do they always gotta target the Christians - what makes the Muslums or the Buddests exempt from bashed every now and then? |

| Perhaps because Christianity is the predominant group of religions in the US. Of course, the same arguments in that piece could probably be extended to Judaism and Islam. |

I don't see this as bashing a CERTAIN religion...it's basically bashing any religion in general...which I find insultive.
I find religion as a way of encouraging people to do good in their life. To help others, to realize the bigger picture.
Yes, there are people that can do good, without needing religion.
Yes, there are idiots who take religion too far and fight and kill in the name of it.
But, those cases are the minorities. |

Meh....I find political correctness to be "insultive".
This is not necessarily going after one religion (although it definitely is the easiest to apply to Christianity). What this piece is more or less showing is how ridiculous one particular religion may sound to an outsider. After dealing with repressive, crazy Baptist missionaries day in and day out, I find it a refreshing read. |
