Dodge has thrown all the money they can at Winston Cup, and still aren't up to par with Ford and GM just yet... (I'm a Dodge fan, but even I have to admit that.) Toyota will be no different. A lot of people want to think Toyota will clean up when they enter NEXTEL Cup, just because they're "more high tech because they're Japanese" (takes a moment to roll my eyes)
It won't, you know why?
NASCAR is not high technology, which WILL be a hinderance for Toyota, who has NEVER made an
iron-block pushrod V8 in their entire history. The reason they do so well in OTHER racing series is because others are high-tech, top of the line tech-wizardry types of deals.
NASCAR racing is not about which manufacturer can throw the most money at technology *cough* *cough* Ferrari in F1 *cough*, it's about what race team can get the most out of what limits they're given, regardless of makes, and which drivers are better.
